Working with you, not just for you.
It's an important distinction and in our opinion the most valuable thing we offer.
We believe in partnership, in commitment, in aligning our goals.
If our objectives are the same we've a much better chance of achieving them.
Have a look around, if you see something interesting then ask us some questions.
The answers might surprise you.

About Us
We were founded in 1980 when Alan Levy and Roy McCallum decided to go into business together. They'd never worked together before but they had a shared vision, a work ethic and very complementary skills. They made a good partnership and they still do.
Since then we've picked our partners well. We don't have clients, we have partners. Our reputation is intrinsically linked to the companies we choose to do business with. We never lose sight of the fact that we are in business together. Our partnerships are about meeting business objectives, not winning awards. We could provide you with a very long list of advertising, design and marketing companies who are no longer in business but who won lots of awards.
We're still in Glasgow, we're also in Edinburgh and in Belfast. Through our membership of TAAN we've also got associate offices all round the world. This breadth provides us with a knowledge bank, technical skills and the creative personnel to meet any challenges. There are areas where we are particularly skilled. Our experience with others has allowed us to build up an unrivalled understanding of certain sectors. We specialise in them, we continue to build up expertise, to analyse what works and why.
Through specialisation we are able to provide our partners with the skills and knowledge they need. That is what we are about.
Expertise
Expertise is built up over time. We've been fortunate to work closely with some very knowledgeable and successful client partners over the years. We work well with retailers, we always have. We understand the pressures they are under. In recent times we have developed a particular expertise in online retail.
We've been working closely with existing retailers online and also with manufacturers who have seen the possibilities the internet offers them. We've worked very successfully with a large number of family businesses over the years. The dynamic in them is different from a PLC or remotely owned organisation.
There's an energy, a passion and a commitment that we love to see in our partners. We know how to make phones ring, tills chime, and increase footfall.
We aren't right for everyone. We're the first to say if we don't think the fit is there. With our approach to partnering we need to be sure our values are shared too.
What we offer
We've split our services into two defined areas, technical and creative, or Logic and Magic as we call them. As the name suggests Logic covers areas where there are rules. Where there are right ways and wrong ways of doing something, where a high level of knowledge and a full understanding of the sector are vital.
These include services like:
- Existing website audit and report
- "Fixing" existing websites
- Building new websites
- SEO
- Google Adwords management
- PPC
- Competitor Analysis
- Product Analysis
- Media planning and buying
- Print management
These are services we provide to an extremely high level. Like so much of what we do they are often interlinked, not only with each other but also with the creative work, the Magic. Whilst the Magic is higher profile and more interesting if you haven't got the Logic sorted first no amount of Magic is going to help you.
The Magic includes:
- Designing new websites
- Social Media management
- Strategy
- Design
- Copywriting
- Through-the-line-advertising campaigns including TV, radio, press, direct mail and online
We offer all of these services independently of each other although we find that the need for one of them is a pretty good indicator that there is a need for others. The Logic and the Magic are connected. That's what we fundamentally believe.
As we've said throughout we believe in partnership. We don't just talk about it, we want to demonstrate it. Partnership extends to our charges. We believe in sharing risk and reward. We're happy to be judged by results, in fact we prefer it. We don't want to be seen as an overhead, our remuneration should be tied into the value we bring. Our approach to this might surprise you, it might even delight you.
Case studies
Seeing some of the work we've done with others is as good a way as any of understanding what we can do. We've a number of case studies prepared, if you'd like to see some of them please ask, we'd love to show you them.
